Jesus Camp

It's a documentary on the evangelical church that I watched last night here at our indie movie theatre. I had many thoughts after watching this film, most were of dislike and disgust... It really made me angry how almost all (90%) of the documentary was focused on either spiritual warfare, sin and death, or political issues. I agree with some of the stuff in the movie, like how the evangelical church should vote, and we should train a child in the way they should go, but this was to the extreme!

The movie was about a childrens camp in the states (can't remember what state) that teaches kids how to be warriors in the army of God. They teach kids how to flow in the prophetic gifts and operate in the spirit. It was just crazy, some of the kids that were there looked like they were like under 5 or 6!! The thing that bugged me the most was that I didn't see hardly ANY Love! I mean com'on, It says in the bible (forgive me for forgeting where) that "they (the world) will know us (christ-followers) by our Love for one another" it doesn't say that "they will know us as this evangelical army that only know how to 'drive stakes into the ground' and wage war in the spirit and that is going to raise an army in this generation that is going to take back america"  NO!!! I mean don't get me wrong, there is a time and a place for spiritual warfare I think it is a crucial part of our lives as christians, and I also believe that we DO need to take back this country for GOD. All I'm saying is that the movie was unbalanced, and the revival of this country is NOT going to happen through scare-tactics.... It's going to be through the LOVE of Christ.

o.k......... well it all started long ago with a viking professor, named ragnarok, this professor was the most brilliant mind in the viking world. so he set out on a task, to find the sacred jewels of argonathoria. and so he set out to the mountain of gong gong wakatuki, which is where the jewels were supposedly hidden, now when he got there he knew that the journey would be life threatening, and dangrous. as he started up the mountain he noticed another traveller just a few miles ahead of him, he of course thought it was just another mountain man. so when the professor got to the top he saw the man standing over a cauldron stiring it up. and when the professor approached him the man turned around and looked straight into the professors eyes, so the man said "hey dude my names gorgington son of blorgington whats yours" the professor replied "ragnarok son of tarkoroth" and so the two made a forever bond of friendship and built on the mountain a huge fortress, anmed the fortress of ragnarok, in which they held the prescious jewels of forever. later the mountain shrunk down to the earth, but the fortress still stands today, it has been passed down from generation to generation, and today cody & cierra of the sisters live in it.
